I’m not going to ask you to stop whatever you’re doing and reblog this. But it would mean a lot if you did. This says so much…
this took me like ten minutes to realize:/
So powerful. So sad.
This is one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen.
I don’t get it…can someone explain?
I think it’s just saying that abuse, especially domestic abuse can happen right in front of you and you’d never know it. It’s easy for husbands to abuse their wives (or vice versa) every single night and they just going on living and no one knows….not even the people that they care about most. At least, that’s how I saw it. And abuse could happen at someones wedding. If you’ve ever been a victim of abuse you know that enough of it makes you terrified of someone, so terrified that all it takes is a look for you to know exactly what you’re doing wrong and exactly how long ago you should have stopped doing it. Imagine being at your own wedding reception laughing with a friend and then looking up and seeing your new husband glaring at you, knowing that later on you are probably going to get hit or beaten for that. Irrational bullshit, abuse. Ugh. Sorry to ramble.
